The article investigates theoretical frameworks of the organization of methodological work in educational institutions under the conditions of reformation and modernization of the Ukrainian education system. The necessity to re-orient methodological work to meet the modern needs of the education sector and requirements of the society is determined. The goal of the current work is to conduct a psychological and pedagogical analysis of theoretical approaches to understanding the content of methodological work, in preschool educational institutions, under the conditions of challenges and changes of the twenty-first century.
