External valve view. 58. Internal valve view. 59. Detail of the valve interior, showing the stauros on a wider hyaline area, the central raphe endings with double helictoglossa and the rounded areolar openings internally. Scale bars = 5 µm (Figs 57, 58); 1 µm (Fig. 59).
