Description

Rhinolophus deckenii Peters, 1867. Monatsb. K. Preuss. Akad. Wiss. Berlin, 1867:705.

TYPE LOCALITY: Tanzania, " Zanzibar coast" (mainland opposite Zanzibar).

DISTRIBUTION: Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar and Pemba.

COMMENTS: Treated as a subspecies of clivosus by Hayman and Hill (1971:23); but see Koopman (1975:386).
