  • 1. Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul

Description

ABSTRACT

Sustainable development and climate change are inextricably linked. Sustainable development, which brings together the economic, ecological and human spheres, is an essential condition for maintaining global climate balance. Thus, this study aims to analyze the state of the art of scientific production on the global warming agenda in the context of sustainable development goals, according to the Web of Science and Scopus platforms. Therefore, a systematic literature review was used as a research method and analysis of a textual corpus of 78 scientific articles. To select the corpus, we used the search string (“sustainable development goals” and “global warming”) and applied the document type filters: article and language: English, as well as the reading of the abstracts. For data analysis, the software HistCite, VOSViewer and Iramuteq and the online tool mapchart were used. As a result, one can verify the research elite on the subject, main journals, annual and geographic distribution of the corpus, clusters of words, in addition to elaborating a typology centered on the main themes addressed by the articles in the corpus, called “Carbon Footprint” and “Gas Emission”.
