Intercultural Education – an Education for the Future
Description
International circulation, migrations, and a continuous search for better jobs have led to the emergence of a new challenge: intercultural communication. In Europe diversity is an increasingly significant phenomenon, and the educational systems are exposed to major challenges such as the multiplication of teaching languages, the recognition and valorization in learning of the identity and cultural heritage of each student, as well as social integration and entrance on the labor market. In our article we present our vision of learning a foreign language by studying the corresponding culture. Solving tasks with practical applicability helps the subjects to fix their knowledge of grammar and understand that we can be together even if we come from different countries and cultures. Tomorrow – together.
