Description

Data from a. prospective cohort study in colorectal cancer screening colonoscopy comparing traditional sedation with fentanyl and midazolam, versus combined Propofol sedation administered by non-anesthesiologists. These colonoscopies were performed between 2018 and 2019. We used the ASA and Ramsay scales for comorbidities and sedation levels. Cardiopulmonary adverse events were defined as: systolic blood pressure<90 mmHg, oxygen saturation <90% or disrrythmia lasting for more than 60 seconds..We recorded as well the management and outcomes of all these events.
