Rattus omichlodes Misonne, 1979. Bull. Inst. R. Sei. Nat. Belg., 51:1.
TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Irian Jaya, Paniai Div., Ertsberg, (4° 4' S., 137° 7' E.), 3400 m.
DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.
COMMENT: Misonne, 1979, Bull. Inst. R. Sei. Nat. Belg., 51:1, considered this species to be related to richardsoni and niobe.
