TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, N. Sulawesi, Minahassa, Mt. Masarang.
DISTRIBUTION: Sulawesi.
COMMENT: Sody, 1941, Treubia, 18(2):260, included this species in Taeromys; but see comment under Taeromys.
