Description
Pipistrellus macrotis (Temminck, 1840). Monogr. Mamm., 2: 218.
TYPE LOCALITY: Indonesia, Sumatra, Padang.
DISTRIBUTION: Malaya; Sumatra; Bali; adjacent small islands.
COMMENT: Listed as a subspecies of imbricatus by Medway, 1969:39; but see Tate, 1942, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 80:249; Corbet and Hill, 1980:67.
