TYPE LOCALITY: India, Darjeeling, Pashok, 3500 ft. (1067 m).

DISTRIBUTION: N.E. India; Burma; Thailand.

COMMENT: Listed as a subspecies of savii by Ellerman and Morrison-Scott, 1951: 170, but see Hill, 1962, Proc. Zool. Soc. Lond., 1962:133.
