TYPE LOCALITY: Coasts of Greenland and Labrador (Canada).

DISTRIBUTION: Arctic Ocean, Okhotsk, Bering, and Baltic Seas; Lakes Saimaa (Finland) and Ladoga (U.S. S.R.); Nettilling Lake, Baffin Isl. (Canada).

COMMENT: Formerly included in Pusa; see Burns and Fay, 1970, J. Zool. Lond., 161:363-394; but also see Corbet, 1978:187.
