Description
Sorex alaskanus Merriam, 1900. Proc. Wash. Acad. Sci., 2: 18.
TYPE LOCALITY: U.S.A., Alaska, Glacier Bay, Point Gustavus.
DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.
COMMENT: Perhaps a subspecies of palustris; see Hall, 1981:43.
