This article studies semantic peculiarities of conjunctions in English and Uzbek languages. In this article, conjunctions are classified into semantic groups according to the meaning they figure out in a sentence. However, this study is devoted to the comparative analysis of semantic aspects of conjunctions comparatively to the structural features.
