- The fauna of Lepidoptera of the Russian Far East is studied insufficiently. New data on distribution of Sphingidae, Notodontidae, Epiplemidae and Noctuidae in the different regions of this part of Russia has been published recently (Beljaev, 2003; Beljaev & Ponomarenko,
- 2005; Koshkin & Bezborodov, 2013; Vertyankin, 2015; Sinev, 2016; Rybalkin & Yakovlev,

- The present paper is based on the material collected by the first author in Sakhalin Island in 2015 and in Kunashir Island in 2015 and 2017. The specimens were collected on a light trap using a DRV-250 lamp. All the material is deposited in the private collection of S. Rybalkin.
