Description
This study, of a bibliographic nature and with a qualitative approach, aims to reflect on the role of the internationalization of higher education today and its repercussions in the university context in the 21st century. To this end, we are guided by studies and documents of recognized importance, centered on the internationalization of higher education as a category of analysis to enhance the development of our reflections. The results pointed to a greater popularization of cross-border internationalization, in relation to integral (comprehensive), curriculum and at home. In this sense, our effort was purposeful, bringing recommendations for each axis of internationalization, as we believe that they can contribute to the expansion of the debate in higher education and to support projects beyond graduate studies.
