Comments. James (1943b: 382), in the original description, mentioned that one female allotype and five female paratypes were deposited in IOC, AMNH, and WSU (stated as in the collection of the author), but he did not specify which specimen is in which collection. We found that one female paratype is in IOC (examined) and another two in WSU (type number 815, see Zack 1984: 23). Therefore, although not confirmed, we are assuming that the allotype and the remaining two paratypes are in the AMNH collection. Additional images of the specimen from Liberación, San Pedro, Paraguay can be found here: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/114961212.
