Creating topographic subregions from linked CAD polylines. A Dynamo Revit routine
Description
This Dynamo Revit routine allows to speed up the process for the creation of subregions on a topo surface just selecting 3 inputs on your Revit model:
- CAD file containing the polylines. It must be already linked to the Revit model;
- Topography on which the subregion/s must be created
- Model lines (a square, polygon, circle, etc..) that highlights the area* in which the subregions must be created.
*It is suggested to try the performance of your computer using an area smaller than 500x500 meters.
We have tested successfully this routine on computer with the following specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzer 7 4700G with Radeo Graphics 3.60 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GM
System type 64-bit
Autodesk Revit version: 2020
Dynamo Revit version: 2.3.0.5885
Topography projected area: 55 Km2
Revit 2020 minimum version needed
