Dielectric structure

We describe the design, fabrication and installation of first generation grating-based dielectric laser acceleration structures for first experimental investigations at the Accelerator Research Experiment at SINBAD (ARES) test facility at DESY. We also provide a brief update on the status of the ARES linac, laser, and experimental area.
