Análise do conforto quanto à vibração em automóveis de passeio

| The use of automobiles is currently growing. So, it is extremely important that these vehicles propitiate well-being of the drivers and passengers. This article aims to determine the degree of the driver’s comfort in relation to vibration transmitted by a vehicle by measurements performed on four vehicles of the same category available in Brazil. The evaluation was performed under different pavement type conditions, vehicle speed, and vibration measurement locations. Also, for the situation of professional drivers, it is evaluated the daily exposure to vibration A(8) for different work situations, which is compared to the exposure limits defined by current standards. According to comfort analysis, it is verified, on a general average, that one of the vehicles presented as more comfortable than others. In terms of human exposure to vibration, it is clear that for certain conditions, vibrations may exceed the exposure limits defined by official standards. |
