Title in English (The effectiveness of a proposed training program in developing the skills of scientific research and creative thinking among the eleventh female students)
Abstract: The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a proposed training program in developing the skills of scientific research and creative thinking among a sample of eleventh science students at Wedad Naserdeen Secondary School for Girls in Palestine. The sample of the intentional study consisted of (48) students distributed on two sets; the experimental group consisted of (24) students, and the control group consisted of (24) students. The training program prepared by the researcher was applied to the research sample (the experimental group) in 4 stages and for (20) training hours between face-to-face and remote meetings. In addition, of using the two research tools, the Scientific Research Skills Scale and the Creative Thinking Scale. The quasi-experimental method was used and the results showed that the size of the impact of the proposed training program was "very large" in developing scientific research skills and “average" in developing creative thinking. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in developing scientific research skills and creative thinking in favor of the experimental group. The researcher recommends the necessity of preparing training programs to develop scientific research skills for students in the general education stage, and developing school curricula with interest in approving a teaching material specialized in scientific research. In addition, to collaborating with educational institutions to embrace the ideas of student researchers and to building their research capabilities.
