Mannuji is not only a microscopic view of metropolitan anomalies and disparities but also a thinker .  Today, due to globalization, the problems of Western countries have become global rather than just their own problems.  It is evident from their stories that there is no doubt that Mannuji has highlighted the changing face of Indian society through her stories.  Keeping this at the center, this is clearly reflected in Mannuji's stories.
