Overcoming the epidemics consequences by Southeast Asian hotels in the 21st century: A retrospective analysis

The experience of overcoming the consequences and crises caused by epidemics of various levels is essential in making decisions in the hotel industry today. Over the past few decades, the countries of Southeast Asia have been repeatedly shaken by epidemics, military and terrorist actions, and natural disasters. But despite this, Southeast Asia today is attractive region for tourists. That is why the experience of the hospitality industry in Southeast Asia can be adopted in the current conditions by various hotel enterprises and territorial tourism development authorities. This article is aimed at studying the epidemic consequences and measures to overcome them in the countries of Southeast Asia. The article analyzes the impact of epidemics on the hotel sector, identifies the main groups of their consequences. Case study of individual countries of the region allowed us to deeper understand the impact of epidemics on the hospitality industry. The article analyzes and characterizes measures to overcome crises associated with the impact of epidemics on the hotel sector in Southeast Asia.
