Description
This file contains all TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy) images of the foraminifera N. labradorica (foraminifera) used in a feeding experiment for the publication DOI: https://doi.org/10.5194/bg-2021-284
Samples were collected at Gas Hydrate Pingo 3 (GHP3), app. 50 km south of Svalbard at 382m water depth at the mouth of Storfjordrenna, Barents Sea. Blade corer (BLC18) used for sampling was taken at following location 76°6'23.7"N 15°58'1.7"E.
After sampling a feeding experiment was performed using the marine methanothroph Methyloprofundus sedimenti. More details can be fount in the methods paper. The file contains
