Coltivare relazioni e collaborare tramite l'e-Service Learning

  • 1. INDIRE

Description

The Covid-19 Pandemic has forced school to compete and engage themselves with technologies. Both, the unexpected full application of the distance learning and the following digital learning have been new settings for school to re-schedule and re-design their experiences. For this, every reality had different speed and solutions due to different equipment and arrangements for access or teachers and students’ digital skills. Related to that, the blended course “All’avanguardia per l’innovazione”, realized by Indire with the Italian University onLine (IUL) for teachers at every school level, reviewed necessarily the timetable and the contents of the tasks. The training course included a Service-Learning module. Contemporarily, in the contest of “Avanguardie Educative” Movement (AE) we realized an analysis on the idea “Inside/outside the school- Service Learning” (Dentro/fuori la scuola – Service Learning) to understand the evolution of SL experiences. Starting in the 2019/20 school year we analyzed if these experiences were re-scheduled online, during the lockdown and furthermore with digital learning. The survey had an exploratory purpose and involved the schools leading and adopting the idea of AE and the project works of the students of the IUL training course to identify some experiences characterized by remote collaboration and cooperation activities. This paper presents two SL experiences identified in the two different contexts that enhance the online collaboration and aimed at creating a service for the reference community.
