SOME AGROPHYSICAL AND AGROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF RAINFED BROWN SOILS ON THE NORTHERN SLOPES OF THE MOUNTAIN RANGE OF TURKISTAN

Description

The article presents data on the analysis of the agrophysical and agrochemical properties of rain-fed brown soils common on the slopes of the Turkestan Range. The rainfed brown soils of the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region were chosen as the object of research, which are soil-forming parent rocks are deluvial loess clays and sands, with a highly folded relief. The studies were carried out on the basis of methodological manuals, such as “Methodology for agrochemical analyzes of soils and plants”, “Methodology for agrophysical research”, “Methodology for conducting field experiments”. According to the research results, the amount of humus, depending on the exposure and slope, belongs to the groups of low, medium, above average and high supply, depending on the parent rock, there is very little phosphorus, relatively rich in potassium, and there is no gypsum. Carbonates are observed to increase from the moving soil layers towards the bottom of the soil profile.
