This article examines the theoretical foundations of performance appraisal in improving the efficiency of small business and private entrepreneurship, and establishes mechanisms to ensure the sustainability of activities. The article develops as a proposal a mechanism for assessing and increasing the cost-effectiveness of small business and private entrepreneurship .
