TEACHING BIOLOGY IN MODERN REALITIES
Description
There are about 7 billion people in the world, but natural resources are limited. Under these conditions, humanity and individuals need to learn how to live together and make conscious, responsible decisions based on the understanding that the actions we take here and now can affect the lives and activities of people in other parts of the world and future generations. In order for people to learn how to lead responsible lives and solve complex problems of global importance, education must encourage the development of critical thinking and the qualities that allow them to predict the course of events in the future and make joint decisions. This requires new approaches to learning, the development of dynamic and sustainable societies and economies, and the development of global citizenship.
