Description
ESiWACE2 WP6 offered trainings on pre-exascale HPC software engineering, methods and tools applied to the domain of weather and climate modelling: I/O, DSL, C++, code coupling, data analytics and containerisation. Resulting material, including presentations and hands-on, was presented at two summer schools organised in August 2020 and 2021. For all trainings, online digital media was also created as Open Educational Resources (OER) material. Originally, online and face-to-face sessions at the partner institutions were planned but all trainings were finally organised online due to the covid-19 pandemic.
