Книгата като тяло [The Book as a Body]
Description
This article argues for the need to rethink the concept of the book as a body. The author answers the question: why should we naturalize the holy word “book“ in order to reduce the debate about the book to the debate about the book body? Firstly, because the book, As the oldest inorganic medium, is by its nature a dialectical unity of “text“ and “body“. Secondly, the significance of the book body is reinforced by its almost mythical connection with the human body.
