Description
This position paper provides requirements to data sovereignty, data usage control and data provenance tracking by reference on three main use cases: Collaborative Condition Monitoring, Smart Factory Web, Evaluation of the Impact on UN Sustainability Development Goals.
Industrie 4.0 is setting the Asset Administration Shell (ASS) as a standard to share data across industries. In addition to it, IDS-RAM is providing means for data acces and usage control, after acces grant.
Now, the question we are facing here is: How are we going to unify those two architectural models in order to coexist for upcoming projects such as the Gaia-X data sharing infrastructure. The idea of a method of how the conceptual gap between Industrie 4.0 and IDS-RAM can be reduced is presented here in the paper.
