Description
The publication presents a report on current problems of Agriculture in the Near East and North Africa in relation to water scarcity. As an answer the report presents the state-of-art of water savings technoloigies and presentations of existing project for solving the issues. This report is the result of close collaboration between several institutions and individuals. From the outset, FAO, ICARDA, ICBA, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of United Arab Emirates (the) (MoCCAE), and the ministries of agriculture of all six GCC countries agreed to join forces in this effort.
