Niveles de evidencia de los diagnósticos NANDA-I relacionados con lesiones cutáneas

En este artículo de opinión comentaremos que la NANDA-I viene trabajando desde el año 2002 en clasificar los niveles de evidencia (teoría de la validez) de los diagnósticos enfermeros. De este modo pretende reflejar el estado de la práctica basada en la evidencia (PBE) en asociación con la taxonomía del lenguaje enfermero estandarizado. La estructura jerárquica de niveles de evidencia que sigue la NANDA-I se organiza en tres niveles principales (nivel 1, nivel 2 y nivel 3) que representa el estado de desarrollo teórico-clínico y la fortaleza de la evidencia disponible; y a su vez, cada nivel se compone de varios subniveles que representan el método de estudio. Sin embargo, el Comité de Desarrollo Diagnóstico de NANDA-I, ya está trabajando desde el 2021 en una nueva clasificación que rebaja los niveles de evidencia a 2 tipos, pero incluye indicadores clínicos y criterios de mayor calidad ampliando los subniveles. Se espera que la nueva escala de evidencia será implementada en próximas ediciones.

[Levels of evidence of the NANDA-I diagnoses related to skin lesions]

In this opinion article we will comment that NANDA-I has been working since 2002 to classify the levels of evidence (validity theory) of nursing diagnoses. In this way, it aims to reflect the state of evidence-based practice (EBP) in association with the standardized nursing language taxonomy. The hierarchical structure of levels of evidence followed by NANDA-I is organized into three main levels (level 1, level 2 and level 3) representing the state of theoretical-clinical development and the strength of the available evidence; and in turn, each level is composed of several sublevels representing the method of study. However, the NANDA-I Diagnostic Development Committee is already working since 2021 on a new classification that lowers the levels of evidence to 2 types, but includes clinical indicators and criteria of higher quality by expanding the sublevels. It is expected that the new evidence scale will be implemented in future editions.
