CONVERGÊNCIAS DO CINEMA DE TERROR Um estudo das apropriações do giallo e do slasher em Pânico (1996), de Wes Craven

RESUMO
O presente trabalho busca, por meio de uma análise teórica, narratológica e historiográfica, compreender a maneira particular com que os subgêneros fílmicos giallo e slasher influenciaram a obra Pânico (1996), de Wes Craven, por meio dos tropos metalinguísticos, além de como este filme promove uma releitura autorreflexiva capaz de produzir uma nova síntese de toda essa tradição anterior. Esta dissertação, portanto, procura estabelecer as relações de Pânico com ambos os subgêneros, ao analisar a história do gênero terror tanto literário quanto cinematográfico a partir da obra de Craven, com o intuito de entendê-la como obra catalisadora e constituidora, a partir de conceitos como: pastiche, paráfrase, paródia e metalinguagem.

ABSTRACT
This work intends, through a theoretical, narratological and historiographic analysis, to understand the particular way in which the film subgenres, giallo and slasher, have influenced Wes Craven's work Scream (1996), through metalinguistic tropes and how this film promotes a self-reflective rereading, able to produce a new synthesis of this whole tradition. This dissertation, therefore, seeks to establish the relations between Scream and both subgenres by analyzing the history of the horror genre, both literary and cinematographic, based on Craven's work, in order to understand it as a catalyst and constituting work based on concepts such pastiche, paraphrase, parody and metalanguage.
