Flore générale de l’Indo-Chine 3 (7): 952 (Lecomte 1930).

ACCEPTED NAME. — D. eriantha Champ. ex Benth.

TYPES. — Tonkin. Tankeuin, dans les bosquets [= Vietnam. Northern, <Tankeuin>, in the groves], 19.XI.1885, Balansa 1056 (lecto-, P [P00721502]!, designated here; isolecto-, P [P02141497]!).

REMAINING ORIGINAL MATERIAL. — Tonkin. Bords du ruisseau de Ouonbi, en amont de ce village [= Vietnam. banks of the <Ouonbi> River], XI.1885, Balansa 1054 (SING!; VNM [VNM00015204]!). — Tonkin occidental. [= Vietnam. North Western], Bon 5606 (VNM [VNM00015203]!).

NOTES

Lecomte (1930: 952) cited collections of Balansa and Bon from Tonkin. Three matching gatherings have been located at P,VNM and SING. Among these, two sheets of Balansa 1056 are better preserved, and one of them, P00721502, also bearing original drawings and annotations, is here designated as the lectotype.
