A synthesis of \(\bigtriangleup\)-terpineol has been accomplished

Synthesis of various terpenoids through an application of Wittig reaction on appropriate ketones or diketones have been reported in our earlier communications^1-4. In continuation of this work, the synthesis of the title compound is now being reported.
