அய்யா வைகுண்டரின் ஆன்மீக ஆளுமையும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட சான்றோர்களின் மீட்சியும் / Ayya Vaikundar's Divine Charisma and Ressurection of the Untouchables

The write up I have produced reflects the happenings during the time of Ayya Vaigundar, who was at that time called “Muthukutty”. It explains the series of events, which happened to improve the living standards of the low caste people against many obstacles and Ayya“Vaigundar” who was himself stamped as belonging to the low caste, faced innumerable difficulties in raising the people who were isolated from society as untouchables. They were not supposed to have footwear, clothes above the hip, given no wages for their handwork, were not allowed to mingle with high caste people, not allowed to enter temples and not allowed to draw water from common wells. These are the few examples that show the extent of the atrocities against them. Ayya Vaikundar, who was one among them, obtained enlightenment from Lord Vishnu and was reincarnated as the son of Maha Vishnu/Lakshmi Devi. He helps the low caste people in many ways. Unable to bear with this, the Tranvancore King orders to arrest him and puts him into several physical sufferings. He even went to the extent of putting Vaikundar in a cage with a ferocious tiger. Surprisingly, the tiger worships him instead of attacking. This incident makes the people understand that he is no ordinary human but a Saint. Later, he establishes a few principles that revamped the lives of low caste people. To conclude, there are still people who are being ill-treated in the name of caste. All their suffering can be put to an end only if people like Sri “Vaikundar” take efforts that will revamp their lives into a peaceful one.
