This document presents the design and preliminary prototype implementation of the iNGENIOUS service and network slice orchestration framework. The proposed solution is aligned with relevant 3GPP and ETSI standard architectures, and is described in terms of architectural principles, functional architecture, information models and APIs. The integration of AI/ML capabilities is also described to achieve full automation in the operation of 5G network slices supporting industrial IoT and supply chain services.
