Garlic in addition to being a condiment is claimed to have many medicinal properties. Since it is consumed in large quantities the content of metals were analysed which include Zn, Ni, Co, Cr, Fe, Ca, Mg, Cu, K, Na, V, Mo, Ti and Ce and are presented as mg/100 g fresh weight.
