Holotype female, NMW [Ref. Pont 1986:237]. Typelocality: Germany, Hamburg, on a ship from America. Distr. Guadalupe Is., Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Juan Fernández Is., Easter Is.; Nearctic and Palaearctic regions. Ref.
