Description

Length: 6.5–13 mm (21 specimens)

Head including eyes broader, equal or smaller than apex of pronotum; green to blue; finely punctate; with long, dark and pale pubescence; antennal base reddish, darker towards club.

Pronotum longer than broad (length:width ratio 1.16); lateral margin subparallel, rarely sinuate, constricted towards base; coarsely punctate; diameter of punctures smaller towards lateral margin; glossy green or olive­green; with long, dark and short, pale pubescence.

Elytral ground color reduced to one or two spots.

Elytra green to greenish­blue; almost three times as long as broad (length:width ratio 2.92); deeply punctured in rows, more irregularly and finely towards apex; diameter of punctures larger than intervals, intervals glossy; apex rounded to very slightly bevelled; frequently with a long tuft of hairs on the shoulder, but this may be reduced (mostly in males); pubescence sparse and pale, with isolated dark hairs.

Legs green; hind tibiae straight; with long, white pubescence.

Ventral surface green; with white pubescence.
