Description

Genus Filiglossa Rayment

Filiglossa Rayment 1959: 324. Type species: Filiglossa filamentosa Rayment 1959, by original designation. Leioproctus (Filiglossa); Michener 1965: 69.

Geographic distribution: eastern Australia (Victoria to Queensland); Western Australia.

Included species (4): Filiglossa davisi (Maynard 1994), comb.n. [Leioproctus (Filiglossa)]; Filiglossa filamentosa Rayment 1959; Filiglossa hamata (Maynard 1994), comb.n. [Leioproctus (Filiglossa)]; Filiglossa prolata (Maynard 1994), comb.n. [Leioproctus (Filiglossa)].

Comments. Filiglossa was revised by Maynard (1994), who treated it as Leioproctus (Filiglossa).
