Haplomacrourus nudirostris Trunov 1980

Material examined. Two specimens: MNRJ 26880 (1, 319.0 mm), T, D-504; MNRJ 26908 (1, 217.0 mm), AG, ASTRO 2003020701.
Distribution. First record of Haplomacrourus nudirostris in the WSA. Collected from off Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro, at depths from 909 to 1135 m. It was described from the eastern South Atlantic, off South Africa (37°09’ S, 7°40’ E), and was also known from the Indo-Pacific (Iwamoto 2001; Iwamoto et al. 2004).
