Etymology. The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The male of Thymoites tabuleiro new species is similar to T. cristal new species (Figs. 27, 28) by the shape of the carapace (Figs. 22, 23) and the palp resembles that of T. villarricaensis Levi, 1964 (see Levi, 1964: fig. 39, 42), but differs from these species by the conductor shorter (Fig. 21) and trajectory of the sperm duct in the tegulum (Fig. 21). The female of Thymoites tabuleiro new species is close to T. villarricaensis Levi, 1964 (see Levi, 1964: fig. 40, 41) by the long and not coiled copulatory duct (Figs. 24, 25), but differs from it in the spermathecae more closer from each other (Figs. 24, 25).
