Ecology. Shelf species, collected at depths from 90 (Blanco 1984) to 351 m (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).

Distribution. Circum-Antarctic (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004). West Antarctica: off Low Island (Blanco 1984). East Antarctica: east of Cape Hallett, Victoria Land, Ross Sea region (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004).
