Alpheus bouvieri A. Milne-Edwards, 1878

Material examined. 2 males, 2 ov. females, Ilha de Santa Bárbara (17°57’49”S 38°41’53”W), coll. G.O. Soledade, 02.ix.2013, intertidal, under rocks, UESC 1550.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—Bermuda, Florida, West Indies, Panama and Brazil (Atol das Rocas, Fernando de Noronha, Ceará to Rio Grande do Sul). Central Atlantic—Ascension Island. Eastern Atlantic—Cape Verde, Senegal to Gulf of Guinea and Congo (Crosnier & Forest 1966; Chace 1972; Christoffersen 1979, 1998; Manning & Chace 1990; Anker et al. 2009).
Previous records from Abrolhos. Southern coast of Santa Bárbara and R/V Calypso, Sta. 84A, 0.8 m (Christoffersen 1979).
