Type material. Holotype ♂, China, Guizhou Province, Fanjing Mountain Nature Reserve: Jinding, 27°54.54′N, 108°41.88′E, elev. 2289 m, 23 July 2013, L.Y. Wang, T. Lu and X.K. Jiang leg. Paratypes (3): 1 ♀, with same data as holotype; 2 ♀, Jinding, 27°54.49′N, 108°41.86′E, elev. 2214 m, 29 September 2013, L.Y. Wang, D. Wang and X.K. Jiang leg.

Etymology. The specific epithet is taken from the family name of Prof. Daxiang Song, in honour of his great contribution to Chinese arachnology; noun.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to O. foveata (Song, 1990) (Hu & Zhang 2011: 65, figs 15 20), but differs from the latter by the single, wide RTA and the relatively short embolus of the male palp (Figs 3 A–C, 4C– E); females are distinguished by the wide median plate and the large, closely positioned bursae of the epigyne (Figs 5 D–E, 4F–G).
