NMNH. Union of Soviet Socialist Republics—Bering Id, Rossiyskaya SFSR. Unrecorded host. Chile (uncertain data); Peru; United States of America; Argentina—Santa Cruz: Lago Argentina. Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur: Estancia Viamonte, Puerto Argentino and Isla Soledad (Islas Malvinas). Aves— Charadriiformes—Charadriidae— Vanellus chilensis. Passeriformes—Furnariidae— Asthenes anthoides. Icteridae— Sturnella loyca. Passeridae— Passer domesticus. Turdidae— Turdus falcklandii. Hastriter & Schlatter (2006) considered Dasypsyllus (N.) aemulus Jordan, 1933 a junior synonym of D. (N.) stejnegeri.
