Material examined. BIOPAPUA, stn CP 3710, Astrolabe Bay, 05°22’S, 145°48’E, 372–384 m, 5 October 2010, 1 male (sl 12.2 mm), MNHN-IU-2011-2079.

Description. See Forest (1987a: 140) and McLaughlin & Lemaitre (2009: 196).

Size. Largest male sl 15.5 mm; largest female sl 13.2 mm.

Distribution. Previously known from Andaman Sea, Philippines; 200–925 m (McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009). Newly recorded from Papua New Guinea, 372–425 m.

Habitat. Hollows in sunken wood (McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009; this study).

Remarks. The present specimens agree well with the previous descriptions by Forest (1987a) and McLaughlin & Lemaitre (2009).
