Description
Cryptodacus ornatus Norrbom

Specimens examined. COLOMBIA: Tolima: Sitio No. 10, Arenera, [04°16'55.0"N 74°54'16.6"W], 309 m, 3 Nov 2004, N. Canal, 1♀ (UT). PERU: Ucayali: Pimental, 8º31’30”S 74º46’30”W, agroforest (loc. 19), 165 m, 22 Sep 2010, J. Krausova, 1♀ (USNM USNMENT00105350).
Comments. This species has been reported previously from Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador Norrbom (1994); Norrbom & Korytkowski (2008). The only recorded specimens from Colombia were from an unknown locality ("cordillera, terra caliente"). The above records are the first from department of Tolima and Peru.
