Family Criconematidae Taylor, 1936

123. Criconematidae gen. sp.— {55} (0, 0, 8, 0; 1)

Population structure and abundance. 7 females (3x10 3/m2).

Ecology and distribution. Criconematides are soil nematodes; some of the species are plant ectoparasites (Andrássy 2007). As a rule occur in water bodies accidentally.

Remarks. Several species of various genera are known from Vietnam (Nguyen & Nguyen 2005; Nguyen 2007). We failed to identify the specimens we sampled.
